How do I start doing business with M2M DataSmart?
We have teamed with Premier Wireless Solutions; and through their 24 sales engineers located across the U.S. you have easy access to direct, personal support. At our corporate office, resources are available to help you start your relationship with M2M DataSmart. These individuals are experienced wireless professionals who can assist with hardware, application and airtime service questions.
Where does M2M DataSmart’s service work?
We provide M2M cellular service across the domestic US - our CDMA network is provided by Sprint. We can validate specific areas of coverage for your application by zip code – please contact us for information.
Does M2M DataSmart sell devices (modules/modems)?
No. We are 100% independent in this area. As an M2M expert, M2M DataSmart works closely with the device (module/modem) vendors to facilitate your deployments and provides formal technical support and co-marketing programs with most leading suppliers. However, we do not sell these products. We have teamed with one of the best wireless M2M distributors, as our partner of choice, to provide you the customer with your M2M module/modem needs. What happens if I use an EV-DO device and I am out of EV-DO coverage?
If you have access to the CDMA network, your device will automatically "fall back" to support the lower 1xRTT data service, albeit at lower speed. Your use and billing for service is unaffected.
How do I obtain support from M2M DataSmart after I start using your services?
M2M DataSmart’s support team can be accessed by email, phone, fax or by creating trouble tickets directly into our Web Portal. M2M DataSmart also provides a 24/7 after hours messaging service making our technical representatives available in the event of an emergency situation.
What happens when I want to move into production?
Because you are already set up and have tested your solution - moving into production is easy. Contact your account representative at M2M DataSmart, Inc. for pricing and implementation assistance.
I like the ability to get Test Accounts - How much does it cost?
The Developer Program is priced differently than the Commercial deployment plans due to the low volume of devices, system setup and technical support requirements. The service plan comes in durations of 90 days and can be extended simply by submitting payments and activating via our web site. The plan offers you activation of your device, 90 days of airtime access and/or up to 5MB of data usage.
